Review:
The cover drew me instantly to the book as it looked hot and smoldering and I was intrigued by the whole cowboy thing. Most of the books I read are set in either the UK or New York and so I couldn't wait to read this one as it was a very different setting to other books I read!
I was right to be excited because I loved the whole small town thing. It really reminded me of the setting in the film Sweet Home Alabama, miles from anywhere, where everybody knows everybody else and with the girl falling for her high school love. Wade and Lily's chemistry is present and recognisable the moment they clap eyes on each other again and it's pretty hard for them to resist each other.
I haven't read any of the other novels in this trilogy but I believe these were based on other characters in the book. I didn't feel I missed anything and it works great as a stand-alone book but I shall definitely be checking out the other two soon! It's always handy to have a bit of a back story for the other characters you read about.
A fantastic easy read that transports you into the world of cowboy boots and tittle tattle gossip, you won't regret picking this up!
